The excision of a portion of the alveolar process is known as alveoloplasty.
Alveolplasty which means recontouring of the alveolar process.Alveolectomy which means removal of
alveolar process.

- After single tooth extraction
- After multiple teeth extraction
- Edentulous patients
3. Dean’s interseptal alveoloplasty ( Inter cortical alveoloplasty )
4. Obswegner’s modification for interseptal alveoplasty
# Complication
1. Excessive bleeding
2. Infection
3. The wound opening
4. Trauma to nerve
